Our History
A Journey That Began With Engineering and System Installation
Baypayo's foundations were laid in 2006 with engineering and system installation services in the heating, cooling and air conditioning sector.
From the very first years, we embraced an approach that went beyond simply installing systems, developing engineering solutions tailored to different needs. During this period, hundreds of facilities were successfully delivered, from cascade boiler systems to fan coils and hot air generators.
We delivered a wide range of projects, including industrial heating systems, thermal process boilers, natural gas installations, polyethylene and steel infrastructure systems, cold rooms, ventilation systems, heat pumps, central water treatment systems, fire hydrant installations and district heating systems.
The field experience gained during these years laid the foundation for Baypayo's later expansion into energy management, measurement technologies, automation and software.
The Knowledge, Technology and Software Era
2012 marked the beginning of an important transformation for Baypayo.
The engineering experience gained on the field over the years was combined with information technology, software and automation to focus on developing smarter, more sustainable solutions.
During this period, Baypayo built its infrastructure and accelerated its work on heat management, remote meter reading, heat cost allocation, software and automation systems.
Rather than simply following industry practice, Baypayo analyzed real problems and user needs in the field, adopting a vision of developing domestic technology and solutions in measurement, control, data management and energy efficiency.
This approach began transforming Baypayo from a system installer into a technology company developing heat and water management technologies.
Building a Nationwide Service and R&D Structure
In 2017, Baypayo relocated its headquarters to Ankara to manage its growing operations from a stronger center.
During the same period, a wide network of authorized services was established across Turkey. The goal was for technical services to be not just post-sale service points, but solution partners implementing Baypayo's technical standards in the field — which is why special importance was placed on training and technical development for services.
To accelerate technology and R&D work, an R&D team was established within ÖHDÜ Technopark, intensifying work on software, automation, measurement and remote management technologies.
During this period, R&D work was carried out on next-generation solutions such as remote meter control and reading systems, online prepaid calorimeter systems, smart heating and hot water devices, and meter management and automation software.
In this way, Baypayo began combining field experience with technology and R&D strength to develop systems that measure, manage, control and make sense of data.
The Manufacturing Era
2022 marked the beginning of a new era for Baypayo.
Establishing its factory on Kayseri Road, Baypayo Meter Industry combined its engineering and technology development work with its own production infrastructure, beginning the manufacturing of Heat Interface Units (HIU), calorimeters and prepaid meter systems.
With this investment, Baypayo moved beyond being a company offering only engineering and software solutions, strengthening its identity as an industrial enterprise that develops its own technologies and manufactures its own products.
Drawing strength from technology and business partnerships between Germany and Turkey to develop its production capabilities, Baypayo aimed to bring together quality, technology, service and competitive pricing advantages under one roof.
Technology Reaching From Turkey to the World
Today, Baypayo Meter Industry continues its journey as a corporate technology and manufacturing company that brings together engineering, R&D, software, automation and production experience under one roof.
With a network of over 200 authorized services across Turkey, 22 different technological products developed in water and heat management, and the capability to export to 26 countries, it has extended its reach beyond Turkey's borders.
Where Baypayo stands today is the result not just of the years that have passed, but of an approach that listens to problems in the field, identifies needs, develops technology and turns that technology into products.

Certificates & Authorization Documents
BAYPAYO is an organization authorized by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization to prepare heat cost allocation reports. It provides on-site service with an authorized dealer and service network in almost every province of Turkey.
BAYPAYO holds the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certificate in meter reading and service, and software development.
BAYPAYO holds the ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Management System certificate, providing world-standard heat cost allocator, calorimeter and meter reading services.
